Monster Mining Reports on Keno Lightning Project Drilling

Monster Mining has announced positive results from its drilling exploration program at the Keno – Lightning project. The flagship project of the mining firm is located near Keno City in Yukon close to the Bellekeno silver mine which is operated by Alexco Resources.

The drilling program used diamond drill holes at the Caribou Hill and Homestake prospects. The Chief Executive Officer and President of Monster Mining, Robert Eadie said that these highly promising drill results provided the geological team with strong prospective new targets for the next round of drilling at Keno-Lightning. Trenching results from the Homestake Zone, also reported in this release, showed excellent potential as well, requiring further drilling he added.

The results from the drilling program in addition to the results from the trench sampling and the airborne geophysical program have proved that Caribou Hill is a high priority follow up target in 2012. The drilling at Homestake did not return quite as significant results but still returned significant ore quantities.

In the press release Monster Mining gave the highlights of the drilling program as Caribou Hill drill holes CH11-09 with 1.4 m of 1696 g/t Ag and 0.46 ppm Au from 15.5 m; CH 11-17 with 0.5 m of 1787 g/t Ag and 2.30 g/t Au from 22.9 m; and CH11-18 with 0.9 m of 1151 g/t Ag from 24.1 m and 1.6 m of 1183 g/t Ag from 34.7 m.
