Southern Arc Minerals has announced the final results of the phase I drill program conducted at the Waterfall Target located in the Mencanggah prospect. This prospect is situated on the company’s West Lombok property in Indonesia.
The company has obtained the assay results of the drill holes from MCG003 to MCG027. Drilling of 6,634 m, totaling 27 holes, was conducted at the Waterfall target. Brecciated and banded epithermal quartz-chalcedonic vein outcrops have been drill tested for identifying the high-grade shoot occurrence at depth. These assay results have validated several vein zones located at the Waterfall target.
Southern Arc has intersected 11.0 g/t gold and 2.6 g/t silver over 1.6 m in hole MCG006, 36.1 g/t gold and 31 g/t silver over 2.0 m, 15.6 g/t gold and 15 g/t silver over 4.75 m in hole MCG016.
Drilling tested the cumulative vein strike along 2 km at the Waterfall target. The positive drill results seem to be confined to the vein segments, striking towards north-northwest. At least three vein sections that are trending to north-northwest stay under tested for development of high-grade shoot. These segments will need further in-fill drilling.
The Waterfall target results have authenticated the existence of high-grade shoots that are formed in the West Lombok epithermal systems. Analysis and ranking of these results will be performed along with the Pelangan and Mencanggah target results for the upcoming drill program.
Two drilling rigs are currently working at the Tanjung and Jati targets, located on the Pelangan prospect.
