Uranium North Resources Cuts Gold Mineralization at Mallery Lake Project

Uranium North Resources has reported the intersection of gold mineralization in five holes drilled at the Mallery Lake gold property, Nunavut.

Mallery Lake Project Map

The company has encountered 15 g/t gold over 0.55 m and 4.62 g/t gold over 3 m in hole ML-11-01, located close to the Stockwork zone’s west edge. Several mineralization zones have been identified in hole ML-11-02, which includes 1.01 g/t gold over 21 m. Mineralized zones are also intercepted in the holes ML-11-03, 04, and 05. These zones have confirmed a lateral extent towards the east, west, and northeast part of the Stockwork zone.

Uranium North has received positive drilling results, which show typical mineralogy, thickness, grades and textures found in the upper portions of epithermal gold deposits. High-grade gold and silver mineralogy zones are present at the depth, based on the model of the epithermal gold deposit. This Mallery system is irregularly opened over 800x700 m area.

Mallery has been assumed to be an epithermal gold system, based on texture, composition, calculated temperature and pressure of vein.

The primary five hole program, including 750 m of drilling, examined mineralization present near surface and along strike in lateral direction. Mineralization has been defined beneath the surface through this drill program. The plan of the subsequent program is to discover high-grade mineralized zones at depth.
