Crocodile Gold Encounters High-Grade Gold at Union Reefs Project

Crocodile Gold has intersected further high-grade gold on the drill holes located at the Union Reefs project, which lies under the Crosscourse and Prospect deposits.

The company has intersected 15.09 g/t gold over 1.8 m in hole URNDD03b and 5.43 g/t gold over 2.45 m in hole URNDD03b beneath the Crosscourse deposit, 31.27 g/t gold over 0.7 m in hole URNDD28W1, 27.96 g/t gold over 2.05 m and 12.51 g/t gold over 3.28 m in hole URNDD28, 7.70 g/t gold over 3.1 m in hole URNDD30W1, 4.83 g/t gold over 3.1 m in hole URNDD30 under the Prospect deposit.

Currently, Crocodile Gold is drilling vertically at the Prospect deposit at up to 400 m depth along a strike length of 500 m to validate the mineralization continuity. It is expected that the resource will increase considerably, after the completion of an infill drilling. The company has analyzed the intercepts, which are found at depths more than 500 m in hole URNDD03b, and identified the intercepts to be the West Lodes’ depth expansions, which is a structure located parallel to the E Lens.

The company will continue to drill at the Union Reefs region in the first half of 2012, and is focusing to drill the area between and beneath the Prospect and Crosscourse deposits. Two diamond drill rigs are currently operating at the project for completing the next drilling phase.
