Typhoon Exploration has announced that Agnico-Eagle Mines accepted the completion of all works conducted at the Aiguebelle-Goldfields property.
Further to this acceptance, Typhoon has fulfilled all its commitments regarding the contract inked during February 2006 and it currently has 51% in the property. It must be noted that Typhoon Exploration is the operator for work being conducted at the property.
The 2012 phase I program has been submitted by the company and it includes drilling of around 2,550 m. The paths for access are ready. Once the essential permits are obtained and the work is accepted by both the sides, the company has to commence the program at the Aiguebelle-Goldfields property.
This drill program will be focusing on perpendicularly cutting the zone mineralization of north-south orientation and extending the mineralized shell located in the showing.
The new three dimensional re-analyses was conducted for the drilling information that is available for the previous showing. This marked a new phase to understand this showing. The mineralized gold present at the Aiguebelle-Goldfields showing appears to be hosted in a mineralized lens, which is believed to be similar as the global ensemble. This lens’ attitude is being distinguished as a limited structure between 50 and 150 m of depth. The property showing continues to expose at depth and to the east.
