Adroit Resources has announced the completion of the drilling program at the west end of Little Pigeon Lake, which is a high-grade copper-gold vein. This project is situated in the south-east portion of the Red Vein property in south of Timmins.
The company has reported that Forage Perfection has conducted a drilling program spanning 1,818 m and examined high-conductance IP targets at the Little Pigeon Lake property. The selected drilling targets were outlined through Larder geophysics’ new ground geophysical survey and Adroit’s current geological mapping and prospecting. Discrete chargeability anomalies that lie near a wide high-grade gold-copper quartz vein and a large chargeability anomaly were included in the targets. This quartz vein is present over 6.25 m of strike on the Little Pigeon Lake property and has several chalcopyrite-mineralized localities that were outlined along the property, by the Ontario Geological Survey.
The project belongs to the Red Vein Property and is located at the center of the high-productive mining triangle established between Kirkland Lake, Sudbury and Timmins, wherein the company has encountered gold and base metals of over 170 Moz and 200 Mt, respectively. The company has discovered large exploration targets at the project.
The Red Vein property is located immediately near SGX Resources’ Timmins South property, wherein wide drilling program was performed since last fall, and targeted shallow gold mineralization.
