Vantex Resources is resuming the reconnaissance activities on the Galloway project, which is situated in Rouyn-Noranda, Abitibi. The company will conduct a drilling program in the Golden Triangle, a region formed by Hendrick, Moriss and GP showings.
The program’s aim is to intersect the geology lying in the middle of the Golden Triangle to study this gold sector and analyze the extensive expansion of the Hendrick zone. The company had drilled four holes in the Hendrick zone that have outlined a strike length of over 300 m. This zone remains exposed in all directions.
Prior results returned grades of 0.56 g/t gold and 0.63 g/t gold on widths of 553 and 280 m, respectively along the VPE10-15 and VPE10-36 drill holes. The drill campaign will examine the presence of higher grade zones in the Golden Triangle.
The company’s management believes that it can intersect new gold zones in this region and connect those findings with identified gold zones in the GP and Moriss showings. Daniel Kelly, a qualified person under NI 43-101 and an independent engineer, will supervise this drilling campaign.
The management of Vantex Resources has planned to set up a business development office in Toronto to boost the market awareness of the Galloway project to the investment communities in Europe, America and Canada. Vantex Resources intends to conclude a rental deal in the forthcoming weeks.
In addition, Vantex Resources is negotiating with a prospective VP-Exploration that will be located in Toronto. The VP-Exploration will aid the consultants who are working on the Galloway project.
