Typhoon Exploration Declares Completion of Second Phase Drilling at Aiguebelle-Goldfields Property

Typhoon Exploration has declared the completion of second phase drilling in the intermediate region of AIG-11-01 at Aiguebelle-Goldfields Property. In this phase, three new surveys were completed.

The first survey was conducted on AIG-11-04 with 414 m, which is situated 25 m to the north-eastern side of AIG-11-01. It was performed in order to corroborate the mineralization zone thickness and was an attempt to obtain the same gold bearing intersection values in AIG-11-01. Between 48 and 91 m of AIG-11-04, a dyke of intermediate composition has been intersected. The dyke intersect exhibited monzodioritic affinity with hematite veins. At a depth between 83 and 86 m, 1.9 g/t Au was obtained over 3 m.

The second survey was performed on AIG-11-05 with 410 m, which is situated 20 m north of AIG-11-01. This survey was conducted to laterally cut the intermediate dyke zones identified in AIG-11-01. The drilling has intersected cracked orange monzodioritic dyke with hematite, similar to AIG-11-04. Furthermore, the mineralized zone has been observed near the surface, about 20 m of dead ground. The results show 1 g/t Au at more than 1 m, between 39 and 40 m, including a shell anomaly of 0.2 g/t Au at more than 17 m, between 26 and 41 m. At a depth of 203 to 213 m, fuschitised komatiite zone was intersected with intermediate dyke remnants and returned with 0.4 g/t Au over 10 m.

The third survey was completed on AIG-11-06, which is situated 20 m south-east of AIG-11-01. This survey was conducted to confirm the lateral extension of mineralized zone intersection in AIG-11-01. Low auriferous values were obtained from AIG-11-06 when compared to AIG-11-01 and AIG-11-04. The results show 0.9 g/t Au over 1 m at depths between 42 and 43 m in a shell having values of 0.4 g/t Au over 11 m at depths of 37 to 48 m.
