Mineral exploration company, Kryso Resources has announced additional assay results from the drilling program, which was concluded in 2011 at its reconnaissance projects and Pakrut gold deposit in the Rufigar region and Eastern Pakrut.
Drill hole intersections in Pakrut revealed ore zone 6: 6.53 m at 12.08 g/t gold; ore zone 3: 18.85 m at 7.47 g/t gold; ore zone 2: 4.18 m at 3.42 g/t gold; and ore zone 1: 27.13 m at 10.59 g/t and 4.65 m at 5.59 g/t gold.
In the Eastern Pakrut and the Rufigar region, ore zone 2, Central Rufigar intercepted 14.07 m at 3.11 g/t gold; ore zone 1, Upper Rufigar intercepted 5.98 m at 2.31 g/t gold; ore zone 2, Upper Rufigar intercepted 4.63 m at 2.35 g/t gold; and road cut at Eastern Pakrut Ore Zone 14 intercepted 9.5 m at 4.56 g/t gold.
In April 2011, initial exploration drilling was started in the Rufigar region with the company’s current drill rigs, and reconnaissance drilling was conducted at Eastern Pakrut. Additionally in August 2011, following the order of two additional drill rigs, drilling was started at Pakrut to further define the Pakrut resources and confirm their extension at depth.
Although only modest gold grades were encountered at the Upper Rufigar, Central Rufigar, and Eastern Pakrut, the company is happy that all the drill holes had intersected mineralization. The company believes that thickness and grades will be higher at deeper levels, similar like the Pakrut area.
Kryso Resources plans to announce a revised resource estimate in the Q2 of 2012. The company has acquired two diamond drilling rigs, totaling seven diamond drill rigs and one reverse circulation rig on site.
