Golden Reign Resources has announced that it has encountered a multi-ounce intercept of gold and silver from Arras zone mineralization located in hole AR 12-36 drilled at the San Albino Mine.
The company intersected 212.69 g/t gold and 204.2 g/t silver over 1.0 m in hole AR 12-36, which shows the Arras mineralized zone intersection drilled towards the northern direction.
This high-grade intersection of gold from the Arras zone mineralization seems to be identical in grade, thickness and style of mineralization found in hole SA 11-41, drilled around 210.0 m towards the western part. Visible gold was intersected in hole SA 11-41, which was the initial hole. Gold is also found in hole AR 12-36.
The company intersected 85.86 g/t gold and 35.1 g/t silver over 2.0 m, 171.62 g/t gold and 68.8 g/t silver over 1.0 m, 109.05 g/t gold and 48.2 g/t silver over 0.5 m, 234.19 g/t gold and 89.4 g/t silver over 0.5 m in hole SA 11-41.
A high-grade zone mineralization may have been intersected in both holes, drilled in the wide underground working regions. Further testing is needed.
Currently, a 2011/2012 definition drilling program is being completed at the San Albino Mine region, located in the company’s flagship San Albino-Murra gold property in Nicaragua. The area in San Albino mine shows only 2 sq. km in the high-potential Corona de Oro gold belt, which covers the 138 sq. km land package and is around 25 km long and 3 km wide.
