Cayden Resources has obtained further results from the drilling program carried out at the Las Calles target, located at the Morelos Sur gold project in Mexico.
Cayden's Las Calles drill locations map
The company has encountered 2.44 g/t gold over 7.7 m in hole LCDD0096; 26.3 g/t gold over 2 m, 7.81 g/t gold over 10.8 m and 3.21 g/t gold over 28.5 m in hole LCDD0101; and 0.65 g/t gold over 39.3 m in hole LCDD0102.
The results exist in the similar fractured and iron oxide-rich diorite sill from which considerable results have been reported. IMMSA, a subsidiary of Grupo Mexico, has previously announced historical results from this diorite sill. The combined results show the prospective for lateral and deeper expansion of the ore body that is currently being explored by Goldcorp’s subsidiary at the nearby Los Filos mine. Mineralization at the Las Calles target is exposed in every direction. Currently, Cayden is carrying out a drill program at its La Magnetita target and may announce the results in the near future.
Ivan Bebek, the Chief Executive Officer of Cayden, stated that the company is happy with the consistent results obtained by drilling at the Las Calles target, and indicates the potential of the Los Filos deposit’s expansion into the company’s ground. Cayden is specifically designing the next drilling phase at Las Calles target and is expecting preliminary results from the La Magnetita drilling.
Vancouver-based Acme Labs assay all the samples with the help of standard 30 g fire assay together with atomic absorption finish.
