Tigray Resources Reports Diamond Drilling Results from Harvest Project

Canada-based mineral exploration company, Tigray Resources has announced diamond drill results from six fresh holes drilled at the Mayshehagne and Terakimti volcanogenic massive sulfide (VMS) gold-copper discoveries, located at the Harvest project in North Ethiopia.

Mayshehagne Prospect - Long Section

Three new holes drilled at the Terakimti have expanded the Northern Lode to an additional 40 m towards the northeast part. The Central and Northern lodes stay exposed at depth. Three recent holes located at the Mayshehagne have expanded mineralization to an additional 100 m towards down plunge and an additional 40 m along strike. Mayshehagne stays exposed at depth.

The company intersected 1.32% copper, 0.45 g/t gold, 19 g/t silver and 2.41% zinc over 8.3 m in hole Hole TD060; and 1.79% copper, 2.07 g/t gold, 13 g/t silver and 3.01% zinc over 3.7 m in hole HD010.

The holes at the Terakimti were specifically drilled to examine the northeast area of the mineralized system. Drill testing was carried out at the Terakimti prospect along a 600 m strike length. The company has planned to outline further mineralization towards the northeast.

The holes at the Mayshehagne were drilled down plunge and along strike of the discovery hole HD001 that returned 4.97% copper, 1.1 g/t gold, 31 g/t silver and 8.24% zinc over 20.7 m.

Mayshehagne lies 3.3 km towards the southern part of the Terakimti VMS discovery. It has been drilled over 160 m of strike on four segments in order to examine a late-time electromagnetic conductor and surface gossan mineralization’s down dip expansion.
It stays exposed down plunge and down dip towards the northeastern part, where the amount of stringer-style and disseminated sulfide is increasing towards the northeast.

Further proposed exploration carried out at the Harvest project will contain the continuous down plunge and down dip expansion evaluation and testing at Mayshehagne and Terakimti, and follow-up testing of target areas that were expanded from ground exploration program.
