International Enexco has reported further drilling results from the 2011-2012 program performed at the Contact Copper project situated in Nevada. The company completed 42,418 ft of drilling at the project and encountered 0.21% copper over 200 ft in hole EN-169 and 0.33% copper over 105 ft in hole EN-164.

Drill program conducted at the project’s eastern end has included a strike of more than 3,000 ft to the mineralized copper oxide, which expands more than 7,250 ft in length. The company has received results from in-fill holes drilled in the east expansion. It drilled 9 out of 10 holes and these holes included copper oxide intervals grading over 0.10% copper.
According to Arnold Armstrong, International Enexco’s CEO and President, the company is happy to release its drilling results, which supported in updating the resource base and geological model, while the company continues geotechnical and metallurgical tests and allied work towards a feasibility study scheduled at a later date this year.
The company drilled 42,418 ft, including 24 core holes and 58 reverse circulation (RC) holes during the 2011-2012 campaign. It had announced results of 4 core and 58 RC holes and is waiting for results from 10 core holes. In November 2011, the company commenced drilling to in-fill and extend the project as defined in the project’s updated prefeasibility study for 2010.
