Pretium Resources has announced the remaining assay results from hole SU-452, which intersected highest-grading gold at the Brucejack project. The company also announced further bonanza-grade results from the drill program performed in Valley of the Kings.
Currently, the high-grade interval from hole SU-452 expands over 10 m and returned 1,605 g/t silver and 2,393 g/t gold over 10.71 m; and 1,130 g/t gold over 0.65 m. This high-grade interval also includes 41,582 g/t gold and 27,725 g/t silver over 0.5 m.
The company intercepted seven individual intervals that grade more than 20 g/t gold in hole SU-452. It has encountered 1,140 g/t gold over 0.50 m in hole SU-440; 2,400 g/t gold over 0.50 m in hole SU-434; 3,660 g/t gold over 0.54 m in hole SU-447; and 5,242 g/t gold over 0.57 m in hole SU-445 in the Valley of the Kings.
Pretium specifically collared the drill holes from the far west border of the Valley of the Kings towards the far east border, respectively. Hole SU-458 is a 50 m step-out holes drilled towards the eastern part, intersecting 433 g/t gold over 0.5 m. Currently, the Valley of the Kings expands over 550 m in length, and stays exposed at depth and along strike.
The company will announce the assay results of the completed drill program over the course of the 2012 drill season.
