Excelsior Mining, an exploration and development firm, has declared that it has reported the final assay results from the 10,502 ft diamond drilling campaign carried out at the company’s Gunnison copper property, which is situated in the copper porphyry belt, South Arizona.
The company has encountered 0.24% copper over 943 ft in hole NSD-23; 0.79% copper over 599 ft and 0.33% copper over 350 ft in hole NSD-24; 0.49% copper over 863 ft in hole NSD-25; 0.38% copper over 668 ft in hole NSD-26; and 0.27% copper over 584.5 ft in hole NSD-27.
Excelsior Mining’s CEO and President, Dr. Stephen Twyerould stated that the drill hole 24 shows one of the most excellent and encouraging intersections seen at Gunnison property. These drilling results have validated as anticipated by the company and give more proof that strong copper deposit is hosted in the Gunnison property.
The company has prepared all the samples from manually split half-core segments on site located in Arizona and has sent the split drill core samples to Skyline Assayers & Laboratories, which is situated in Arizona, for Total Copper and Sequential Copper analyses.
The Gunnison copper project is situated near the essential infrastructure and the oxide resource of the project has the potential to be explored with the help of in-situ recovery processes.
