International Northair Mines Encounters High-Grade Silver at La Cigarra Project

International Northair Mines has reported assay results from three core holes drilled at the La Borracha zone, located in the La Cigarra silver project in north central Mexico.

La Borracha zone is the prominent section located in northernmost part of the La Cigarra mineral system situated 200 m towards the northwestern part of the main Las Carolinas and San Gregorio targets, where drill program has discovered an extensive mineralized zone that measures more than 2,000 m long and upwards of 150 m broad. The combined zone of Las Carolinas and San Gregorio is the present target of a preliminary resource scheduled for the fourth quarter of this year.

The company encountered 33.0 g/t silver over 9.00 m, 54.3 g/t silver over 9.75 m and 30.2 g/t silver over 13.50 m in hole CC-12-089; 25.6 g/t silver over 6.00 m, 48.0 g/t silver over 7.50 m and 48.7 g/t silver over 9.00 m in hole CC-12-091; and 166.2 g/t silver over 4.50 m and 17.1 g/t silver over 11.20 m in hole CC-12-093.

New drill program at the La Borracha zone has verified the mineralization occurrence of 200 m towards northwest part and on strike from the San Gregorio zone’s northern end. Drill holes CC-12-091 and 093 have specifically expanded the indicated strike length of the mineralized La Borracha zone towards south by further 250 m.

The La Borracha mineralization zone stays exposed on strike towards the southeast and northwest and down dip towards northeast. The company has drilled only four reverse circulation and seven core holes at the La Borracha, which continues to be a significant exploration target having possibility to extend the potential resource at La Cigarra.

The company’s proposed drilling has been completed at La Cigarra, where the program has been planned to resume in the fall season. Northair has drilled more than 22,000 m, including 118 core and 15 reverse circulation holes. It will announce the remaining 32 core hole assays, once the results are obtained and analyzed.
