Hana Mining Intercepts Strong Mineralization at Ghanzi Copper-Silver Project

Hana Mining continues to encounter strong and consistent mineralization from the down dip and infill program results of seven holes drilled in Zone 5, which is located at the Ghanzi sediment hosted copper-silver project, Botswana. This mineralization also demonstrates the possibility for fresh high-grade resources.

Drill Hole Location of Zone 5, Including Sections N124850 to N126250

The report obtained so far includes eight and four infill drill results from the Chalcocite and Northeast Fold deposits. The drilling results will be utilized to reinforce the confidence in these deposits.

The company has encountered 2.54% CuEq over 11.56 m and 1.64% CuEq over 19.24 m in hole HA-565-D; 4.54% CuEq over 8.56 m and 2.34% CuEq over 17.10 m in hole HA-568-D; and 1.93% CuEq over 12.17 m and 1.29% CuEq over 19.25 m in hole HA-569-D.

Seven hole results from Zone 5 are outlining high-grade resource continuously at mineable thickness and support the analysis for further strong mineralization that continues at depth beneath the present modeled pit. The present drill campaign aims to define a pit, which is amenable to both underground and open pit mining.

The drill program at Northeast fold intercepted mineralization along the present pit’s outer limits located towards northeast and shallow at the southwestern part of the plunge axis. The less high-grade mineralized zone was identified in the footwall sandstones, namely Ngwako Pan Formation, and encountered 3.24% CuEq over 2.00 m in hole HA-555-D.

The proposed drilling at the Chalcocite zone was to examine the possibility of extending the present inferred resources identified at Banana zone. The drilling results show broad mineralization intervals. The pre-feasibility study will consider the economic feasibility of these results.
