Samco Gold Reports Further Results from El Dorado Monserrat Project

Samco Gold has released additional drilling results from the Herradura target, which is located at the El Dorado Monserrat project.

Location of the Herradura Prospect on the El Dorado Monserrat Project

Several narrow mineralized zones were intersected in HDDH022, which includes 4.6 g/t gold 19 g/t silver over 3 m towards the northern part of pyritic breccia. Two structures, which include 9.3 g/t gold and 70 g/t silver, were encountered in HDDH023, which expands the interpreted strike of the west-east quartz vein that was formerly announced by additional 300 m to the east for a strike of approximately 800 m between HDDH014 and HDDH023.

The company drilled the holes HDDH026 and HDDH027 on the same segment between HDDH015 and HDDH013. Two structures were intercepted in both holes, including 2.1 g/t gold and 130 g/t silver over 6 m.

Samco has obtained results from the final 11 drill holes located at the Herradura prospect, which is in the company’s El Dorado Monserrat project. Holes HDDH022 through HDDH027 were specifically drilled to mine the E-W quartz vein, while holes HDDH021, HDDH020, HDDH019 and HDD016 mined target areas towards the south.

HDDH022 intercepted several narrow mineralization zones downhole between 146 and 200 m, which includes 4.6 g/t gold and 19 g/t silver over 3 m immediately towards the northern part of the pyritic body that was intercepted in HDDH011.

HDDH023 was specifically drilled to mine down-dip from hole HDDH010, which formerly encountered low-grade intersections. This hole indicates that the mineralization encountered in HDDH010 cannot continue in depth, which includes 9.3 g/t gold and 70 g/t silver over 0.7 m. These intersections recommend a mineralized structure that expands between HDDH014 and HDDH023, for more than 800 m.

Samco drilled hole HDDH024 to explore beneath the formerly announced intersection of 11.2 g/t gold and 73 g/t silver over 5.5 m in HDDH013. HDDH026 and HDDH027 returned 2.1 g/t gold and 130 g/t silver over 6 m.
