Melkior Begins Drill Program on Carscallen Gold Project

Melkior Resources Inc. would like to announce the commencement of a five hole, drill program on its 100% owned Carscallen gold project which is located approximately 25 kilometres west of the centre of Timmins, Ontario.

The first hole is located in the vicinity of the Aumo Shaft and on strike with a 2014 drill hole which intersected 39.2 g/t gold and 36.3 g/t silver over 0.3 metres. Recent surface samples (2015), were found to contain 1.73, 8.02 and 9.66 g/t gold. (Refer to Melkior's Press Releases; December 2, 2015, September 9, 2015 and February 18, 2015.)

The second hole will be drilled under a recent surface sample, found to contain 58.8 g/t gold on the Jowsey Vein. Nearby drill hole, CAR-86-2013 intersected 40.4 g/t gold over 0.65 metres about 30 metres south of the trace of the current hole.

Hole 3 is planned to intersect a new zone that has not been tested by drilling in the recent past. Surface samples (2015) from the Arsenic Zone were found to contain 1.30, 0.796, 0.479, 0.330 g/t gold.
