Recharge Declares the Commencement of Drill Program in Brussels Creek Project

Recharge Resources Ltd., or “Recharge” or the “Company,” declared that its wholly funded drill program is anticipated to begin within the coming week at Recharge’s completely owned Brussels Creek Copper-Gold-Palladium Project in Kamloops, BC, Canada.

To abide by the current consultation with stakeholders and First Nations, two drilling proposals were received, and an archaeological study of the drill sites was accomplished. Two eastern drill sites were considered to be of “low” archaeological potential.

Recharge has employed Paradigm Drilling to supply a skid mount, Boyles 25 model drill rig to the staging region around the Brussels Creek Property on or before November 25th, 2022, and finish 900 m of NQ size core drilling in three holes. Out of this 900 m, hole collar angles will be from -50° to -90°, and borehole depths will not be over 350 m.

The objective of the 900-m NQ drill program is to assess the capacity for copper-gold mineralization such as the one that exists at the adjoining New Afton mine held by New Gold Inc. NGD.V ($1.07 Billion Market Cap). The New Afton Mine inhabits the historic Afton Open Pit mine site, which functioned between 1977 and 1997. In July 2012, the current mine and concentrator facility started production. The mine is a block-caving operation. It generated 52,542 oz Au and 61,700,000 lbs Cu in 2021.

In the first week of December, drilling is expected to begin.

With drill contracts and permits in hand for this highly-anticipated drill program we look forward to see drilling underway in short order. The encouraging results from the previous IP survey and the potential for continuity of structure and geological environment from neighboring New Gold's New Afton mine could prove extremely valuable for the Brussels Creek Project and all stakeholders.

In the forthcoming three to four weeks, data compilation from its Georgia Lake Lithium Airborne Magnetic Survey is expected—with the drill program at Pocitos 1 Lithium ongoing.

While data compilation is underway at Georgia Lake Lithium, drilling continues at Pocitos 1 Lithium, we are pushing forward on all fronts with drilling about to commence at Brussels Creek. We thank Mr. Shearer and all those involved in the consultation and drill planning process. Recharge is committed to sustainable exploration and mining practices. This is a pivotal time for the Brussels Creek Project in BC, and we look forward to the upcoming drill program starting early next month.

Brussels Creek Project

The BC property—an early-stage exploration property—is situated roughly 24 km west of Kamloops and is right next to the New Afton mine of New Gold. Spreading over 1,350.43 hectares, the property consists of 17 claims (66 cells). The property’s geological setting is very much like New Afton, which is a silica-saturated copper-gold alkalic porphyry-style deposit, and the Highland Valley, Mount Polly, Kemess, and Galore Creek deposits.

Recent field observations witnessed the existence of a considerable mineralized quartz-feldspar porphyry body interfering with the overlying Nicola Group volcanics. A wide anomalous zone (200 m × 400 m) with gold values up to 3.5 g/t was located by historic sampling and mapping done on the property in 1983 and 1984. Grab samples obtained from the property in 2019 have values of 10.1 g/t Au (with 0.7 g/t palladium) and 11.5 g/t Au.

The management of Recharge warns that the historic outcomes or findings on properties nearby the company might not essentially be suggestive of the existence of mineralization on the properties of the company.
