Bocana Resources Corp. (Bocana or the Company) has reported the successful conclusion of the initial two out of nine planned diamond drill holes within the Escala area concession, situated in the southwestern region of Bolivia.

The Company's first-ever drilling operations, encompassing NQ and HQ-sized core samples, are anticipated to continue for an additional three weeks as part of the scheduled 2,000 m program.
Lithologies Observed
The two finished holes examined the southern side of a significant induced polarization chargeability anomaly, believed to be associated with the Cerro Galapagos near-surface porphyry system. Within a dacitic porphyry, hydrothermal and intrusion breccias have been observed, along with fracture-controlled sulfides, primarily pyrite, and some arsenopyrites, as well as magnetite.
Core Sampling Protocols
The company personnel will oversee the collection of all drill core samples. Following retrieval from the drill platform, these cores will be transported to the camp's logging facility. Here, they will undergo geotechnical and geological logging, be photographed, and split using a diamond saw before the sampling process begins.
Subsequently, the samples will be securely bagged, sealed, and assigned unique identification numbers to ensure the preservation of a continuous chain of custody.
In addition, Company employees will incorporate blank, duplicate, and certified standard samples within every set of 20 samples before they are transported from the camp in the Escala area to the ALS Bolivia Ltda. (ALS) laboratory facility located in Oruro, Bolivia.
ALS will be responsible for delivering sample preparation and analysis services, utilizing their ISO/IEC 17025 accredited facilities. Notably, ALS's Oruro unit holds accreditations for ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 17025:2005, making it a distinguished facility.
ALS also boasts the unique distinction of having the sole laboratory in South America with a substantial number of analytical methods accredited under ISO IEC 17025, and this accreditation extends to the sample preparation stage as well.
We are pleased to have to have the first two cores completed. If the drilling continues at this pace, we would estimate completion of this portion of phase I to be within the next three to four weeks.
