Pro Minerals Completes Phase I Drilling at Shining Tree Gold Project in Ontario

Pro Minerals Inc. (TSX VENTURE:PRM) has announced that the Company has completed its first phase of diamond drilling on its Shining Tree Gold Project situated southwest of Kirkland Lake, Ontario.

A total of 1,509 metres of diamond drilling was carried out are chosen targets identified as prospective for gold mineralization. 279 samples totaling 411.95 metres of core have been prepared and submitted to Swastika Labs for analysis. Results from Swastika Labs are expected to be received in early to mid January.

This represents the first drilling ever on Pro Mineral's Shining Tree Property, near Beilby Lake despite the proximity of gold-bearing veins and structures within 200m at the Gold Corona – Pet Vein, Churchill Veins and Rhyolite Vein occurrences. These historical gold occurrences have been recently stripped and sampled by the Platinex Inc. - Creso Inc. Joint Venture. The drilling recommendations already include additional targets to be tested in 2011.
