Yorbeau Resources has completed the first two drill holes of 10,000 m drilling at the Augmitto sector of its Rouyn property in Quebec.
The company expects to permit completion of a NI 43-101 complaint resource estimation during mid-June, so it will concentrate on the Augmitto deposit for the first several months of the year. The Augmitto deposit is located at the Rouyn property’s farthest western end, which covers a 12 km strike along the Cadillac-Larder Lake Break.
The assay results are pending but the holes penetrating the target zones, which are the hanging-wall zone, Upper and Lower Piché zones, and footwall zone, were discovered during core re-logging and data compilation in 2010. The company has encountered noticeable gold in several intercepts jointly with other characteristics of the gold zones, such as the presence of brown tourmaline, arsenopyrite, quartz veining and strong silicification.
During February, 2011, the company has drilled four holes totaling 377 metres on the Beschefer property. This program was canceled due to technical problems in deep overstrain united with a strange warm-up, which made the ground soft and the drill rig has become wobbly and risky to activate. The Beschefer property covers the instant eastern extension of the similar stratigraphic enclose, which possess the Billiton B-26 copper-gold prospect.
