Minsud Resources has reported the phase I drilling results from the Chita Valley Project, Argentina. This project is well situated in the El Indio mining district of Argentina and Chile, wherein the Del Carmen project, Veladero and Pascua-Lama mines are present.
The company has encountered copper, gold and silver rich veins in the drill hole Ro1104, which is collared in the Romina mineralized corridor that is 1,500 m long present in varied granodiorite. It has intersected 0.21 g/t gold, 102.0 g/t silver and 2.9% copper over 1.0 m in the hole RoW1101, 0.42 g/t gold, 1.0 g/t silver over 1.0 m, 0.34 g/t gold, 22.0 g/t silver and 0.5% copper over 2.0 m in the hole RoW1102, 1.17 g/t gold, 66.0 g/t silver and 1.2% copper over 1.0 m in the hole RoW1103, 0.83 g/t gold, 101.0 g/t silver and 3.2% copper over 4.0 m and 1.19 g/t gold, 6.0 g/t silver over 2.0 m in the hole Ro1104 and 2.43 g/t gold, 35.5 g/t silver over 1.0 m, 2.91 g/t gold, 14.0 g/t silver over 1.0 m, 1.29 g/t gold, 10.6 g/t silver over 1.0 m in the hole Ro1105.
Minsud’s Vice President of Exploration has stated that the altered granodiorite has been confirmed for the occurrence of potential mineralization, when cut by the holes Ro1104 and Ro1105 at the Romina Corridor. This has immense prospective for veins in the Pájaro Loco and Cerro Lara.
The CEO and President of Minsud, has reported that the phase I campaign will be completed through 900 m of drilling at Minas de Pinto and the company will expand the second hole and validates the presence of mineralized gold and silver veins at the depth of the Copper-Molybdenum porphyry. It will begin drilling during the last week of October.
