Camino Minerals Completes Diamond Drilling at Rodeo Gold Project

Camino Minerals has completed the diamond drill program at its Rodeo gold project in Mexico.

Drill Plan

The company has intersected 0.28 g/t gold and 23.10 g/t silver over 14.1 m, 0.20 g/t gold and 21.70 g/t silver over 67.5 m, 5.99 g/t gold and 7.94 g/t silver over 31.2 m in the hole RO-11-001, 0.25 g/t gold and 2.94 g/t silver over 52.4 m in the hole RO-11-005, 0.61 g/t gold and 1.86 g/t silver over 3.0 m in the hole RO-11-008, 0.88 g/t gold and 1.15 g/t silver over 1.5 m, 0.49 g/t gold and 5.07 g/t silver over 4.7 m in the hole RO-11-009 and 0.41 g/t gold, 1.66 g/t silver over 55.85 m in the hole RO-11-013. During 2004, Canplats Resources drilled the hole BR-06, which encountered 13.27 g/t silver,  5.43 g/t gold over 30 m, and has twinned reverse circulation with the hole RO-11-001.

The location of this hole RO-11-001 is in a shallow mineralized zone that was discovered formerly through the RC drill program. The recovered hole from this RO-11-001 hole has permitted Camino to find the dissimilar veining breccias and stages that carries the mineralization. Additionally, the hole RO-11-001 results have revealed that the high values of silver could be found in the lack of high gold.

The company has completed the diamond drilling of 29 holes and has examined a north-west, north trending epithermal system. It is waiting for the further results of the remaining 19 holes.

This Rodeo gold project encloses 13,099 ha area. Canplats drilled 25 holes, totaling 3,449 m, at the project from 2004 to 2007. It examined 5 km long epithermal system for 600 m.

ALS Chemex in Mexico has completed assaying this campaign. A 30 g fire assay along with AA finish was used for gold analysis and 51 multi-element group employing ICP-AES and ICP-MS methods were also utilized.
