Torex Gold Resources’ continuing drilling campaign has been validating the geological mineralization model present near the granodiorite interval of its Morelos gold project, Mexico.
The results of the step out holes drilled at its Guajes West deposit have authenticated the high-grade mineralized extension along the northwest intrusion, in the Guajes East deposit’s direction. The company has intersected 21.4 g/t gold over 3.4 m in the hole TMP-1146, 3.01 g/t gold over 15.2 m in the hole TMP-1150 and 15.22 g/t gold over 20.1 m in the hole TMP-1213.
It has encountered the continuing intercepts at the deposit through the step out drill program at the Guajes West deposit’s southwest direction and has expanded the deposit’s prominent mineralized zone by around 150 m to the southwest portion.
The company has intersected 2.49 g/t gold over 4.23 m in the hole TMP-1147, 4.22 g/t gold over 9.22 m in the hole TMP-1150, 4.42 g/t gold over 3.73 m and 2.49 g/t gold over 6.73 m in the hole TPM-1198, and 4.84 g/t gold over 3.00 m in the hole TMP-1205 in the northeast part of the Guajes deposit. Also, it has cut 0.61 g/t gold over 3.00 m in the hole TMP-1156 and 1.14 g/t gold over 23.80 m, 0.77 g/t gold over 51.42 m in the hole TMP-1171.
