Golden Predator has announced the encouraging results of further 12 diamond drill holes and has updated the current activities performed at the flagship Brewery Creek project. The infill drilling is continuing to show the thickness and grade consistently at the Bohemian-Schooner zone.
The company has intersected 2.66 g/t gold over 19.5 m in the hole BC11-269, 5.67 g/t gold over 23.3 m in the hole BC11-271 and 7.41 g/t gold over 8.7 m in the hole BC11-280.
Besides the company’s formerly identified mineralization in all the 12 drill holes, BC11-273 and BC11-274 holes cut mineralization that were unexpectedly more in copper and silver, including up to 0.3% copper and 948 g/t silver over several 2 m.
The company has drilled 75 reverse circulation (RC) holes and 153 core holes through September end. The drill program has focused on the outlining of the two discoveries at the Sleeman and Bohemian-Schooner zones during 2011, though extensive drilling has been intended to the Classic zones and North Slope. The company is waiting for the results of all the 75 RC holes and excess of 60 core holes. Four core rigs are performing the drill program and currently one RC rig is working at the site.
A wide pad and road building campaign has been completed to offer an enhanced winter access for the drilling campaign throughout the year. The company has widened the current facilities at the project.
Golden Predator has finished a 5,500 sample soil survey at the project’s south central region, which is between the Sleeman and Classic zones. Survey results are pending.
