Golden Hope Mines has reported the additional results of the 2011 drilling program conducted at Bellechasse-Timmins in Southeast Quebec.
The company encountered 1.62 g/t gold over 7 m, 1.45 g/t gold over 7 m, 0.73 g/t gold over 5 m in hole BD2011-178, 2.08 g/t gold over 10 m, 2.13 g/t gold over 5 m, 2.80 g/t gold over 8 m in hole BD2011-179, 3.22 g/t gold over 6 m, 1.68 g/t gold over 9 m, 1.03 g/t gold over 12 m in hole BD2011-180.
Golden Hope Mines’ President, Frank Candido stated that the company is delighted with the drilling data obtained from the 2011 program. These near-surface results encountered are positive and these new drilling results will contribute to the initial resource calculation. The team in Ste Justine works to assay the core.
Currently, drill cores from five holes are present at Toronto-based SGS Labs. Drill cores of 10 holes, totaling around 3300 m, will be sent to St-Magloire facility’s lab.
As the company has temporarily stopped drilling to gather the data and to concentrate on the core processing, the drilling crew has moved out from the property. The company’s future plan has included the publication of the initial resource calculation and preparation for a wide Spring 2012 drilling program at Bellechasse-Timmins and all over the property in Southeast Quebec. The company prepared and tested the samples at SGS Minerals Services of Ontario.
