Vantex Resources has intersected 0.6 g/t gold over 72 m in the expansion of hole VPE10-15, in the Hendrick division. The location of this gold zone is between the depth of 933 and 1,005 m and it has also cut 2.6 g/t gold over 7.5 m and 1.4 g/t gold over 18 m. During 2010, the drill hole VPE10-15 has encountered 1.19 g/t gold over 39 m and 0.62 g/t gold over 288 m.
The location of the Hendrick area is in GP showing’s southwest extension and is contained in the Golden Triangle that is defined by the Moriss and GP-Hendrick showings. Presently, one more hole is being drilled in this area to a depth of 1,000 m and so far, above 150 m of mineralization was cut to a depth between 442.5 to 600 m depth. Assays results are pending.
The company did not receive any positive results from the drill holes VPE11-33 and VPE11-34, which is situated 200 m east of the Moriss showing and drill holes VPE11-31, VPE11-32 and VPE11-35 that is sited 250 m south of the same. Vantex has intersected 16.33 g/t gold over 3 m, 2.47 g/t silver and 1.54 g/t gold over 3 m in the hole VPE11-30, which is situated 50 m east of VPE10-23.
Vantex has tagged, bagged and shipped all the samples to Laboratoire Expert in Rouyn-Noranda, wherein 30 g pulp samples are set and examined for gold. New gravimetric analysis (FA) is conducted on all the samples.
