Vantex Resources has reported that it has intersected 0.80 g/t gold over 148.50 m and 0.99 g/t gold over 48 m in the hole VPE12-48, which was drilled in the Hendrick showing area. This area is situated on the Golden Triangle’s south point.
The company drilled two holes in this region in order to examine the Hendrick zone’s in-depth expansion. It cut a lithologic zone in the drill hole VPE12-48, which is akin to drill hole VPE10-15. Geological units, which are different from the previous data, were intersected in drill hole VPE12-47. Vantex intersected 0.97 g/t gold over 28.50 m, 0.67 g/t over 57 m, 0.48 g/t gold over 223.5 m and 0.38 g/t gold over 382.50 m in the hole VPE12-48.
Vantex tagged and sent all the drilled samples from the Hendrick zone to Laboratoire Expert, Rouyn-Noranda, which prepared 30 g of pulp samples and assays for gold. All the samples underwent new gravimetric analysis (FA).
The airborne survey results are expected in the upcoming days. This aerial survey will enable a better assessment of different structures, which cut the property. The company is expecting the 43-101 Technical Report in the coming weeks.
The company’s management will recommence operations on the Golden Triangle region in the coming weeks. It has decided to delay the drilling program to concentrate on the Galloway project, with respect to the Cookie Monster project.
