Pilot Gold Discovers New High-Potential Targets at Regent Project

Pilot Gold has discovered fresh high-prospective targets at the Regent project in southwest Nevada through the 2011 primary exploration campaign results and moreover has substantiated the mineralization located at the significant resource region called Regent Hill.

The drill campaign has confirmed the continuity of the down-dip and lateral gold mineralization at Regent Hill, and also new silver and gold mineralized targets for a further 750 m to the northeast section.

The company has intersected 5.18 g/t silver and 1.41 g/t gold over 14.2 m, 18.02 g/t silver and 0.48 g/t gold over 15.7 m in the core hole PRE008C, 4.93 g/t silver and 1.03 g/t gold over 38.0 m in the hole R0502 and 4.67 g/t silver, 0.58 g/t gold over 19.8 m in RC hole PRE022 through definition drill program at the Regent Hill. It has also conducted exploratory reverse circulation (RC) drill program at the North East target and has cut 4.56 g/t silver and 0.58 g/t gold over 15.2 m in hole PRE004, 2.57 g/t silver and 0.78 g/t gold over 21.3 m in hole PRE009.

Pilot Gold has conducted soil geochemical sampling program and has outlined several huge gold-in-soil anomalies at the property’s south part. The focus of the drill program for the rest of 2011 will be on the infill core drill campaign at the Regent Hill deposit and the prominent mineralized zones that are extending. Pilot will also perform the 14 line-km of CSAMT geophysical surveys over the property to direct the upcoming explorations.

The plan of the 2011 exploration is to appraise and prioritize fresh exploration targets, and to outline the recognized mineralization zones contiguous to the Regent and Silver Hill. The focus of the exploration campaign depends on analysis and collection of the past extensive information from the project, which includes geologic, geochemical and geophysical holes, with recent wide soil and rock sampling and ground gravity or magnetic surveys completed by the company.
