Concordia Resource Announces Completion of Phase II Drilling at Kerboule Project

Concordia Resource, a junior exploration firm, has announced that it has completed the phase II drill program at the Kerboulé project, located in North Burkina Faso. Currently, the company has reported continuous phase I encouraging results from the Kerboulé South region.

Central Kerboulé target areas

Reverse circulation (RC) and diamond drilling program continues to encounter extensive oxide mineralization intervals, which include 1.94 g/t gold over 40 m in hole KBS_RC_013 and 1.09 g/t gold over 89 m in hole KBS_DD_004. The company has cut high-grade intersections including 5.13 g/t gold over 5 m in hole KBS_DD_002.

Recent drilling results from Kerboulé North area have shown possibility for expansion of popular mineralization. Concordia encounters 1.3 g/t gold over 18 m and 1.4 g/t gold over 23 m at the Kerboulé North.

On 11 April, 2012, the company announced initial ten RC hole results from the phase I program. Those results included 2.39 g/t gold over 20 m in hole KBS_RC_005, 15.62 g/t gold over 13 m and 7.43 g/t gold over 29 m in hole KBS_RC_010.

The area of the project encloses 400 sq. km. 80% of this project area has been sampled and mapped with a number of additional targets, which were identified for follow-up work.

The phase I program, including RC and core drilling, trenching, validates an encouraging northeast-north structural vein control with several offsets and folds, having wide oxide mineralization zones for over at least 4 km and having a similar style as that in the Insta Mine.

The trenching and drill program carried out at Kerboulé South, Kerboulé North and Kerboulé Main has outlined mineralized gold for up to 4 km along strike located in the Kerboulé project. Several unproven target areas, found all over the entire license regions, have been discovered through infill and regional soil sampling, and the ongoing comprehensive auger sampling program.
