Canamex Resources Encounters Significant Gold Intercepts at Bruner Gold Project

Canamex Resources reported that it has encountered significant intercepts at the Bruner Gold project located in Nevada. This intercept is believed to be the best among all intercepts ever drilled at the project.

The company intersected 0.119 oz/t gold over 360 ft, 3.864 oz/t gold over 5 ft, and also 0.045 oz/t gold over 55 ft in hole B-1201. This drill hole cut from 180 to 235 ft is situated above the high-grade and thicker 360 ft intercept. Open pit provides access to mineralization found at this depth.

The intercept found in the hole B-1201 includes numerous quartz and chalcedonic veinlets, different clast types of breccias, and strong clays and iron oxides. It is oxidized fully to a depth of 820 ft. The mineralized zone seems to be approximately 200 ft thick and dips sharply. The company is re-assaying the high-grade intercept found at a depth of 455-460 ft in order to confirm the values of gold and silver.

Greg Hahn, Canamex’s CEO and Chairman, stated that this hole intercept exposes a fresh region and deposit type in the Bruner property. The thickness and grade surpass anything in the historical data base and denotes that a deposit with considerable grade and size may occur in the property. The intercept is exposed in every direction. The presence of breccias, high values of gold and hydrothermal quartz and textures shows that the intercepts in hole B-1201 represent a strong hydrothermal system.

This summer program included drilling of six holes, wherein every hole targeted to cut the core part of the mineralized zone approximately 100 ft distant from the other zone. The company will announce these hole results once they become available.
